The polymer that derives from polymerization of Butadiene by means of using sodium (Natrium) was named after the first syllables of the word, which explains its name, BUNA. NR was created during the research conducted for finding similar materials.
Properties:
Good corrosion, good elasticity.
Shows good elasticity under low temperatures and provides good resistance against dynamic fatigue.
The workability decreases when used solely.
Areas of Usage:
Vehicle tires.
Golf balls, hose production and conveyor belt production.
Shoe sole production.
